Scott Miller, born 73 years ago in New York has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and was employed as a Manufacturing Manager for forty years in both New York and Florida. Scott and his wife Adele were married in 1973 raising a son, Daniel and daughter, Lauren. Scott’s wife, Adele, was first diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s in 2005 at the age of 54 and was forced to retire from the teaching profession 4 years later in 2009. Scott retired in order to care for Adele and remained at her side until she passed away, at home in 2020. In 2012, Scott’s daughter, Lauren and son-in-law, Seth founded HFC, Hilarity for Charity, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and accelerating progress in Alzheimer’s care, research and support. Scott’s son, Daniel, became Board Chairman. Scott is a founding member of the HFC Homecare Grant program dedicated to providing home care relief to caregivers in need.
