Justin Hamman is an entrepreneur, a dementia educator, and a family caregiver. In 2014, Justin’s mom, Linda, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease. At the age of 21, Justin became his mom’s primary caregiver, which provided him unique insight into the systematic, medical, and personal challenges of Alzheimer’s Disease. In 2017, Justin co-founded Zenjoi Inc., a health technology company using VR and AR to promote brain health in aging adults. With a background in Computer Science, Justin led Product Management for Zenjoi’s flagship VR product which enables seniors to engage in a combination of physical and cognitive exercises. In addition, Justin has experience in marketing, sales, and business strategy. Through his personal experience with dementia, Justin holds in high regard his relationship with world-class dementia expert, Teepa Snow. Since 2018 Justin has been a ‘Positive Approach to Care Certified’ Dementia Caregiver Trainer. More recently, Justin is exploring the use cases for innovative technologies to improve the efficiency and scalability of dementia education.
