Dr. David Goldberg is Clinical Hospitalist and Assistant Clinical Professor at VCU Health in Glen Allen, VA. Dr. Goldberg earned his undergraduate degree in history at UVA and then went to medical school at VCU. He continued at VCU for his internal medicine residency and stayed on as faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Goldberg was recently appointed “Lead Hospitalist” at The Sheltering Arms Institute, which is an Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital that is a collaboration between VCU Health and Sheltering Arms. Dr. Goldberg and his wife just welcomed their daughter Isabel to the world in March. He enjoys playing tennis, going to the beach, and making parodies of popular songs! Dr. Goldberg has been involved with Alzheimer’s advocacy since 2010. He started an Alzheimer’s awareness and volunteer organization in college called Hoos For Memory at UVA and a similar organization in medical school called Rams For Memory at VCU and has several years experience working with the Alzheimer’s Association in advocacy and public policy on the local, state, and federal level.
